The Journey
I was born in 1985 in Concepción, Chile, where I began my medical studies at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción. In 2009, I completed a practical year in Germany at the University of Ulm. This experience inspired me to pursue my specialization here, drawn by the country’s leading medical expertise.
After gaining initial experience as an emergency physician in Chile, I returned to Germany in 2013 to start my specialist training at Klinikum Bielefeld. Between 2015 and 2017, I founded and led The Rolling Doctors, a full-time volunteer project with my former wife, a pediatrician and now pediatric rheumatologist. Through this initiative, we provided free medical care and surgical treatment, as well as training for local healthcare professionals in countries including Nicaragua, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, and the Philippines.
Since 2017, I have worked at the renowned BG-Unfallklinik Murnau, where I completed my specialization in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, certified by the Bavarian State Medical Association. During my rotations, I expanded my skills at Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in rheuma-orthopedics at Klinikum Oberammergau. My path eventually led me to the geriatric units at Klinikum Garmisch and BG-Unfallklinik Murnau, where I trained for the subspecialty in Geriatrics and am now in the final steps of completing my qualification.
Alongside my surgical career, I pursued a subspecialty in Emergency Medicine, which sharpened my ability to work efficiently, set priorities, and lead teams in critical situations. This journey has allowed me to connect with hundreds of people and truly establish roots in this place, which I now proudly call home.
I currently work at a place where I combine high-end orthopedics with geriatrics: the Klinik für Gelenkersatz Endogap — one of Germany’s leading centers for joint replacement, performing more than 2,500 knee and hip replacement surgeries per year.
Additionally, leveraging the world-class medical environment in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen and my extensive experience across leading clinics, I provide high-end private health concierge services for VIP patients. Treating my patients with a holistic and integrative approach, I guide my clients to the most suitable clinics and specialists according to their unique needs whenever necessary. This model, as well as my luxury photography business featuring incredible images I have captured in over 60 countries around the world, supports me and helps fund my upcoming humanitarian projects abroad.
